A New color a day...Nail polish Obsessed

This has been a good week for this polish-a-holic! I welcomed some brand new polishes into my collection and I couldn't wait to wear them, so I changed my polish every day this week! Unfortunately, I did not take pictures each day, but here are the ones I did take!

(These were edited in photo bucket but, for some reason, they're not showing up that way. If anyone knows what the heck is going on, please let me know. It worked the other day.)

Spiderman Collection Number One Nemesis

This is a beautiful greyish shimmer polish that is not too dark to wear in the spring and summer months!

I wanted to spruce up my mani, so I used these beauties to create some colorful polka dots! I couldn't decide which one to use, so I wore them all!

These are from the Essie Summer Collection 2012: (from left to right: bikini so teeny, mojito madness; and off the shoulder)

 Ta-da!

I had this one for awhile (by while, I mean a few hours), but then decided I didn't like it very much. So I wore bikini so teeny (a gorgeous periwinkle-esque color) and mojito madness (pretty sure this is the prettiest, and by far my favorite, green that I have ever owned!) I have no pictures of this one.

I am currently rocking "Off the Shoulder". I am so in love with this pink polish. How gorgeous is this?!

I have seen it described as a neon-ish pink, so in order to maximize its beauty I layered it over Essie's Blanc. I love the way it looks!

I hope everyone is having a fabulous Friday!

It's A-Ok!

Whoa, look at me, posts every day this week! That has got to be some sort of record around these parts. Since I am on such a roll, of course I have to participate with one of my favorite link ups! Compliments of Neely & Amber :)

Let's do it!

Its Ok Thursdays

IT'S OK

*to have changed my polish every day this week

*that I want to get my blog a makeover, but I am a bit overwhelmed trying to figure out exactly what I want

*to want to go see MIB3 in a theater, instead of waiting for its DVD release. I mean, hello, its Will Smith. He is gorgeous

*to be on the fence about the 50 Shades of Grey trilogy. It doesn't sound like it is something that I would typically read, but I did say that about Twlight and I loved those books.

*to put on my big girl pants and finally deal with the tasks I've been avoiding.

*to be so very excited about the 31 party I am going to on Saturday.

*that one minute I'm ready for summer break and the next I'm dreading it. I am going to miss my herd.

*that the thought of driving to Minnesota with my herd is daunting. I need to find the DVD players for the ride.

*I want to eat the cinnamon roll I bought for breakfast NOW. I won't though. It's late

*to love that So You Think You Can Dance is back on Thursday nights. Yay

*I have been bumming all day because I cannot find my sunglasses anywhere :( I guess that's not okay. I wish they would reappear.

Things I don't understand

*why we (myself included) do things we know are bad for us.

*half of my conversations with Mr. N. I am not fluent in acronyms.

*how the herd never runs out of energy.

*how one sock always gets lost in the laundry

*how to read a map. Thank goodness for my GPS.

*why my taste changes so frequently. I like something for a while and then, Boom, can't stomach the thought of it.

*why I ignore certain things instead of taking action. The only one it is hurting is me.

*why my cats step into the litter box the second I am done cleaning it to do their business. Couldn't you have done that before I was done?

*why, with a closet full of clothes, I never have anything to wear.

*why I have not purchased one single pair of shoes or articles of clothing for myself in the past year. Does this mean I'm officially a grown up?

*I cannot hang anything straight on my wall. It is always lopsided-ish

*how I used to be able to function without my phone attached to hand. I am so dependent on my phone but, really, who isn't these days?!

What things do you not understand?

People Pleaser

I am often guilty of putting others needs, wants, and desires ahead of my own. I am often guilty of raising heck to help others fight their fights, all the while avoiding my own battles. Sometimes avoidance is my best friend when, in reality, it should be my worst enemy.

I know these things about me, but I don't do anything to change them. Why? I have no idea. I guess it doesn't bother me that much.

Monday Mashup

Sometimes I have so much to say, that I say nothing at all. Strange? Well probably, but that's how I roll. Hence the neglecting of my blog. I always feel that I should have something "big" and important to write about and, quite frankly, sometimes I just don't. I also always feel that I should apologize for my absence but, again, there is no need for that. Life gets busy and that's just how it is. I need to stop worrying so much about it.

Now that I got that out of the way, I am linking up my randomness with the fabulous Mrs. Monologues.

Play Ball

Rae is the only member of herd that is playing spring sports. It wasn't done intentionally, the t-ball league for the boys was full, and Martina didn't turn 9 within the required time frame to play softball this season. They took it in good stride, and they will definitely all be in some fall activity. I know that once they are all in an activity I will twice as busy with practices and games, so I am enjoying a slightly less hectic sports schedule at present.

This past weekend I went to Rae's game and Oh. My.Word it was the best softball game I have ever seen! The way they play here is that 4 innings or 1 1/2 hour time limit, whichever comes first. This was the first game Rae's played this season that they played all 4 innings.  The Yellow Jackets (Rae's team) went into the last inning losing 8-5. Since they were the Home team, they were guaranteed one more chance at bat, since the score was close enough for a come back. This is where the game became really nerve wracking, well at least for us parents! lol

The bases were loaded and 2 outs. The tying run was on first base and the winning run (we will call her T) stepped up to home plate. The pitcher threw the first ball over the plate, T swung and connected! Yellow Jackets started running. The ball whipped past the short stop and we all watched in awe as the ball went past Left Center. The girls were rounding the bases as fast as they could. The tying run stepped on home plate, and T was rounding third as the ball came back into the infield.  T raced towards home trying to beat the ball to home plate (at this point, every single Yellow Jacket and all us parents are on our feet screaming and cheering). The ball went past the catcher and T stepped on home plate, the Ump called game, and we were all jumping up and down cheering. T hit a grand slam and the Yellow Jackets won the game! Unbelievable! I was, and still am, so very proud of these girls!

Here are the girls right after this amazing victory!

Shopping Success

I have been on a mission trying to find some nail polishes on my wish list. Sunday I made the trek to Ulta to see if they had what I was looking for. I was looking for

1) Revlon Whimsical

2)  Luxe&Lush -The Hunger Games Collection

Source: ulta.com via Autumn on Pinterest

I am so excited to finally have both of these in my hands collection! Ulta did not have the Luxe & Lush polish in full size. However, they did have it in a mini bottle collection pack. So I got 3 other polishes from the collection too! I now have Agro, Smoke and Ashes, and Harvest Moon. I am wearing Agro with Luxe&Lush right now. I know the collection has been out for a while now, but there weren't many in this collection that I was interested in. In fact, if they had the full size bottle that I wanted, I would not have bought any of the other colors. However, I am glad that I did because they're growing on me!

Business

This has been an amazing month for my Scentsy business, as well as the launch of Velata. I have achieved all of the goals that I have set for myself, and then some, this past month. I absolutely love what I do and I am looking forward to growing my business. (If anyone has any questions, or would like to join my team, please contact me at MrsN09@yahoo.com I would love to help you with your needs and/or have you on my team!)

What's Coming Up

I am really excited about this upcoming weekend for two reasons. The first being that I am going to my first ever My Thirty-One party. I have never been to one before. I have been looking forward to this for a few weeks now! Can't wait!

The second thing I am excited about, is that the pools are finally opening this weekend! I foresee a day at the pool, herd in tow, on the horizon!

What are you looking forward to this weekend?!

Attention Chocolate Lovers!

As of May 1st the Scentsy Family has launched its newest brand, Velata!

Velata is a heavenly chocolate fondue. It is not just any chocolate, but Belgian chocolate. It comes in four different types of chocolate; Milk, Dark, White, and Caramel. Are you drooling yet?! If not, you should be! It is simply delicious!

The chocolate is warmed by a lightbulb in a very stylish warmer. The Blue Razz curve warmer is on my "To Buy" list.

I mean, seriously, how gorgeous is this warmer?!

If you would like to place an order, or host an online party, you can go to my website here  I can also do House Parties, for those who are local, or in Minnesota or Michigan, as I will be up in that area in June and July.

You can also contact me via email if you have any questions, or would like me to mail you a catalog, at MrsN09@yahoo.com

My sister, Dana, is participating in a Heart Walk on May 19th in Minnesota to help raise money for the American Heart Association.  Our family has been effected by heart disease and she is walking on behalf of our dad (survivor), both of our grandfathers (who are no longer with us..RIP), aunts, and uncles.

This cause is very near and dear to me and our family. So, of course, I wanted to help anyway that I can!
What better way to raise money for a great cause then to have a party! A Scentsy party that is! Scentsy is also a proud supporter of the American Heart Association. (This is Scentsy's Heartfelt warmer)

Dana's Less Than 3 party is open Now until May 18th! I will be donating all of my commission from this party to help her reach her fundraising goal.  If you would like to shop her party and and contribute to a great cause (which I would be forever grateful!) you can go here

If you would like more information about the Heart Walk, or would like to make a direct donation to her team Less Than Three (its a heart...see? <3...Cute huh?!), you can visit her page here

Have a beautiful day!
